И теперь эт официально, разговоры ходили почти неделю, свершилось - Нил Патрик Харрис был гостевым судье на отборочном туре "Американского Идола" в Далласе:

Harris, who also hosted the Tony Awards this year, sat in with the "American Idol" judges Tuesday during a round of auditions in Dallas, E! Online notes. He's the eighth person to fill the seat vacated by Paula Abdul during the auditions for next season -- and the first without any serious ties to the music business.

Which is not to say he knows nothing about singing: Harris has performed in "Rent" and "Sweeney Todd," among other stage work, and played the title character in Joss Whedon's online sensation "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."
