Neve Campbell (Party of Five) will return to network television with NBC's midseason drama The Philanthropist, starring James Purefoy and Jesse Martin, about a renegade billionaire who uses his wealth to help people in need. The former Scream queen will play the wife of Teddy Rist's business partner and BFF Phillip (Martin), who runs the men's philanthropic organization and finds herself drawn to Rist (Purefoy).

(and former Ugly Betty) writer Marco Pennette has three projects in development, including ABC drama pilot The Romeos, about four men in the 1960s who eventually become the country's biggest pop stars, which he'll write and executive produce with Brad Meltzer and Steve Cohen (Jack and Bobby), and ABC comedy Straight Up and Dirty, based on Stephanie Klein's autobiographical book about recovering after a traumatic divorce.

"I haven't gotten far on my VM movie outline," Thomas told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. "And with Cupid and Party Down occupying 80 hours a week, and a new baby boy occupying the remaining hours, I haven't nailed it down. I'm hopeful that I can find the time to figure it out over the Christmas holidays."

04.12.2008 в 10:44До 21 серии его продлили ещё после первых 3-4 серий, когда рейтинги были стабильные больше 7 млн., потом они резко до 5 млн. упали и пока остаются на этом уровне.
Low ratings have prompted NBC to trim Knight Rider's order from 21 episodes to 17. As a result, the show's season (and possible series) finale will be broadcast Feb. 25.

04.12.2008 в 18:472.NBC уже назначили дату возвращения сериала в мидсезоне 7 января и дату трансляции последней серии 25 февраля. Вряд-ли они успеют показать больше 10 серий за это время, на сегодняшний вышло только 8 серий.
